NCIN for Analysts
As well as producing our own analytical reports, NCIN provides tools for analysts both within the health service and elsewhere.
The United Kingdom Cancer Information System (UKCIS) is a national web-based reporting tool, running across the NHS network, providing the user access to cancer information for their area. To use the UKCIS you must be registered and connected to the NHS network.
Other routes to access information
For those working outside of the health service, or who do not need access to the level of information contained within UKCIS, it is possible to download the data underlying the Cancer e-Atlas and our other e-Atlas based information tools.
If more detailed information is required it is possible to request data extracts or analysis from your regional cancer registry, or from the lead cancer registry for a particular cancer type or site.
We also maintain a list of other other sources of cancer data that may be useful.
