The Cancer Commissioning Toolkit (CCT) is developed to support NHS Commissioners and Providers with cancer intelligence. The data can assist commissioners to identify patterns of care that can contribute to saving lives, give options regarding services, ensure value for money and share information to help improve patient experience. The functionality includes benchmarking, charting, profiles, signposting to assist the users find information easily and is available to both public and NHS professional users.
The Cancer Commissioning Toolkit supports NHS Commissioners by providing a central location for profiles and other key data, instant chart creation (to assist in identifying the burden of cancer in a locality,downloads and extracts for local interpretation, working closely with the NHS community to ensure the data outcomes are relevant.
